Liam Syrvalin

Liam is a journalism news and information major with a political science minor. Last semester, he was lucky enough to go to Washington, D.C. through the Scripps-in-DC program. In D.C., he worked at Deutsche Walle as an intern producer. He’s previously served as the president of Ohio University’s chapter of Young Democratic Socialists of America, an organization he is still involved with. He will graduate in May, and he is excited to report on our region, which he has grown to love. In his free time, Liam enjoys reading, engaging in political organizing, and playing video games with his friends. After graduating, he hopes to merge his passions in politics and communications in a meaningful way.
