Avery Kreemer is a senior studying news and info at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a specialization in sociology and political science. In addition to being a writer and department editor for Southeast Ohio, he’s a member of two of Ohio University’s leading student publications, working as a slot editor at The Post and a writer and copy chief at Backdrop Magazine. Avery was a member of the Dayton Daily News investigative team as an intern over the summer of 2019, where he covered a tornado outbreak, the state budget, gun violence and more. After graduation in May, Avery hopes to continue working in print media and riding that wave wherever it takes him.
