Norm Blanchard poses for a portrait in front of the future sight of the Guernsey Power Station Blanchard is the Economic Development Director for the Cambridge-Guernsey Community Imporovement Corporation. Blanchard said he was very excited when he heard about this power station coming to Cambridge. The anticipated annual plant budget is $20 million, with at least half of that being spent locally. GPS itself is approximately a $1.4 billion dollar project that will produce 500 jobs during construction and 140 annually.
