Do you know what Ohio University landmark this photo from the 1900s captures?










Athens Unearthed took to Twitter to see how well OU students knew the history of the land they call home.

Most students walk through or past this area daily on their way to class; however, they struggled to see anything familiar about this picture. Some identified it as the old asylum known as The Ridges.

Others were stumped, but gave it their best shot.

While both the Ridges and Court Street were valuable guesses, this is actually a photo of College Green. Can you identify which buildings in the photo are still standing today? Leave your answers in the comments below.
