It’s amazing how much time you can spend just looking at fonts.
Frankly, it’s a little overwhelming how many different options are available through Google fonts alone.
This week, the design group has focused on the creation of a logo for Athens Unearthed and getting the website ready to launch. The hope has been to design something simple, visually appealing and with some interesting content.
The early phases of any project are fun, with plenty of excitement and potential, but there are still questions about how everything will come together.
While these blogs will be the initial posts on this site, readers can expect to see larger stories being posted within the next couple of weeks. Our authors have been working diligently to prepare their articles.
Each of the groups is working toward their goals and plans, and things are starting to come together. The next few blog posts will include more concrete announcements about features you will see on the site and stories that are about to be published. There might even be an event to announce.
The hope is that things will operate smoothly and we’ll soon be able to provide you with a hint about a few of the articles that will be among the first published on the site, and maybe a bit of a publication schedule.
At this point, however, we’re focusing on telling stories about the greater Athens area with a different focus than what’s already available and trying to provide you with some unique information.
As always, we welcome your ideas and feedback. Thanks for reading.}
