Draft three in the works with three weeks left

The Athens Unearthed team has now submitted two of three drafts to the editing team for submission on the site. In less than four weeks, the team will be making its final edits and improvements to the site, as the school year officially comes to an end on April 29.

With two drafts submitted, the Athens Unearthed crew is realizing how important it is for all four different teams to be working together, especially as the time remaining in the semester dwindles down. It has been quite the learning experience for everyone involved on the Athens Unearthed team since not all of us have worked in a newsroom-like environment before. Luckily, the four separate teams have helped to divide up all of the work that a publication needs in order to be successful. Soon, all four teams will write reports and evaluations on their successes and problems they have faced during this semester.

As the semester comes to a close, the Athens Unearthed authors prepare to finish up their three-series story and, as a whole, polish up any issues with all four teams to ensure everyone is proud of the website’s final product by the end of this month.

Keep checking the Athens Unearthed website as more stories will be published this week and next week.
