Team tasks to enhance user experience with AU

It’s spring semester of senior year. As you can imagine, we’re all pretty excited to graduate and start our post-grad lives.

But there are still a few weeks left, and we’ve got a website to uphold. Our Professor, Hans Meyer, delegated team tasks this week to keep us motivated and keep us going.

The editorial team has edited and posted every student’s first story. They populated the “People,” “Land” and “Business & Food” sections. Check it out under “Stories” at the top.

The design team moved our blogs off the main page. Now, instead of appearing on the main page they’re situated under “Blog.” The team also made the tagline larger and navigated the social media buttons and search bar to the top of the page. Go take a look.

The promotion team has stepped up its social media campaign in addition to planning a “not-launch” launch party (suggestions on an event name?) We want to celebrate our successes toward the end of the semester. We’ll have updates about that as it gets closer.

And lastly, the community engagement team is working on a page for social calls to action. It’s working with the promotion team to plan our end of the year party, too.

Slowly but surely, our site is coming together. If you’ve been tracking our progress, let us know what you think. We’d love to hear from you. Be sure to check back soon!
